Hatchet Caye Island Resort (Adults Only) Placencia, Placencia

This resort is truly a slice of paradise, surrounded by stunning clear waters and great coral for snorkeling. I loved the organic garden supplying fresh ingredients for the restaurant, and the accommodations are beautifully designed and comfortable. The staff were top-notch and offered fantastic service, but I did have a couple of concerns about the dive operation and future changes to the island that might affect its tranquility.

Ray Caye was a truly wonderful getaway, offering a beautiful setting and exceptional dining, though I did face some discomfort with noise in my room. The island is well-maintained and has a relaxing atmosphere, complemented by a helpful and attentive staff. However, my experience was slightly marred by the thin walls in my accommodation, making it less than ideal at times.
